Sunday, July 31, 2011, afternoon around 1 pm there is a special Kids Game. Children 14 and under are welcome to participate in a fun SloPitch game.

Room for 16 teams to participate in this event

All games at the McLeod Valley Recreation Grounds, 3 miles north of Peers.

Renovating the Baseball Diamonds

In 2010 two new sets of bleachers were added.
Thanks to UFA, Peers Farm Store, Peers Curling Club and numerous wonderful volunteers for helping remove the old bleachers and building the new ones.

In 2011 the baseball fields were renovated.
Thanks to David and Louise Baudin, Joe Stitzenberger, West Country Oilfield Services and Weed Control, Trent Stanley Seed and Fertilizer, Scott Tompkins, Ranslam Farms, Talisman Energy, Geoff Thompson, Peers Curling Club and Peers Farm Store for the generous donations of time, equipment, fuel, seed, fertilizer and talent.

In 2012 the plan is to renovate the fence, backstops, dugouts, benches and a few more bleachers. Anyone interested in donating resources and time to this project please contact peerscurlingclub@gmail.com. Any and all help is very much appreciated and welcome.
